Project: ShopLite reliable order API simulation
60 min · Intermediate
A mobile order API is reliable when a retry can never create a second order and a long history can be scrolled without repeats. This project builds both halves, server and client, in one Java file and shows them surviving a lost response, an overloaded server and new orders arriving mid-scroll.
Interview questions this lesson answers
- How does your order API stop duplicate orders?
- Why does your client retry some errors and not others?
- Why did you use cursor pagination for order history?
- How did you make the simulation repeatable?
- What would you add before production?
